COFFERED CEILING
Coffered ceiling
The roof is made of wooden coffered panels in the main nave, while the other chapels, being independent, each have their own altarpiece and coffered ceiling, which is almost always octagonal (eight-sided).
The ceiling in the main chapel has four squares in the four corners, each with a finial. In the centre, the almizate is decorated with five finials, the central one being the largest.
The limas feature mouldings and interlacing decoration at the ends, as well as on the beams of the coffered ceiling in the main nave.
