Chapel of the Heart of Mary

This Baroque-style altarpiece (18th century) consists of an altar table and two sections with a finial.

The first section has a single niche presided over by the image of the Heart of Mary, created by sculptor Ricardo Villalba in 2008.

It is flanked by the archangels Raphael and Michael, four Solomonic columns decorated with reliefs imitating bunches of grapes and vine leaves.

In the second section, there is a high relief depicting the scene of the Annunciation.

Finally, the altarpiece is topped with a tondo representing the Holy Spirit.
